Apps for every stage of the grow.
Some are live today. Some are in development. All of them aim at the same thing: better data, clearer decisions and cleaner records.
One GrowLabs account is coming. Soon you will sign in once and use every GrowLabs app with the same account.
Crop Steering
Status: Live, free and open source (version 3.18)
Crop Steering waters each zone of a grow room from what its probes read, inside Home Assistant. It lets the substrate dry back by a set amount and brings it back up, so you choose how plants are steered. It refuses to water when something looks wrong, and it shows you every shot.
- Probe-driven watering. Moisture and EC probes per zone, with each day run in four phases.
- Safety checks. Checks before every shot, and every pump and valve switch is read back.
- Clear dashboards. All rooms, one room, then one zone with every shot on its day chart.
- Free course. A beginner course on crop steering, with video lessons and practice.
AiGrow
Status: In development
AiGrow is a cultivation operations app for medicinal cannabis and other controlled-environment growers. Bud, its built-in AI assistant, works alongside your team: ask in plain language, by text or voice, and Bud helps complete tasks, run operations and track inventory across the records AiGrow keeps.
- Bud, the AI assistant. Chat or talk to Bud to find, record and update work across the app.
- Grow records. Plants, batches, genetics, recipes and harvest reports.
- Tasks and checks. A work calendar and routine checks for the team.
- Sensors and stock. Sensor readings, stock levels and stock takes beside the grow records.
Trellis
Status: In development
Trellis is a record-keeping app for medicinal cannabis growers. It tracks plants from mother and clone to harvest, keeps flower and seed stock as ledgers, and records every transfer between companies. Run it on your own hardware or use the hosted service. Trellis is moving to its own domain as the Trellis app.
- Plants board. Mothers, starting and growing plants by batch, with harvest recorded in one step.
- Stock ledgers. Flower and seed quantities, where corrections are new entries, never edited totals.
- Chain of custody. Manifests for plants and product received from, or sent to, partner companies.
- Reporting. An annual stocktake and monthly reports that reconcile opening, received, sent, destroyed and harvested.
Trim Log
Status: Live (self-hosted). Hosted service coming.
Trim Log is trim-room software. Crew log their time and weights, leads manage harvests and production lines, and everyone can see how the room is going. It works on a phone and keeps logging when the network drops. It is open source and free to self-host, with unlimited crew.
- Time and weights. Crew sign in with a PIN and log trim time and weights.
- Harvests and batches. Batch and bag weights, crew assignments and QR labels.
- Works offline. Entries queue on the device and sync when it reconnects.
- Room display and exports. A shared screen for the room, plus CSV exports.
Strain Library
Status: Live, free
The Strain Library is an open cannabis strain wiki. Each strain links to its breeders, terpenes and effects. The same data is published as a free feed, so other apps (Trellis among them) can use it for strain search and autofill.
- Browse strains by breeder, terpene and effect.
- Open data feed. Strain, breeder, terpene and effect data as JSON.
- Open licence. Prose under CC BY-SA 4.0, structured data under CC0.
